About the Editor
Marcelo Bendahán (b. Spain, 1970) began his professional career in 1995 after graduating from the School of Comunication of Madrid. He moved to England where he studied at the Westminster School of Media and the London College of Printing. Approached by the Performing Arts Library of London, he spent five years taking pictures of London’s fascinating musical scene. His work has appeared in BBC Music, the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, and Gala Magazine. In 2004, he published AMSTERDAM ALWAYS, a captivating photo album that portrays the city as it has never been seen before. The following year, he published MELILLA VIVA, which offers unique insight on this enclave in North Africa that has belonged to Spain for over 500 years.
Captivated by Jerusalem’s beauty, he spent much of 2007 and 2008 exploring the city with his camera in order to create JERUSALEM ALWAYS.
He currently lives in Amsterdam with his family.
